Spring Skiing in Summit County, Colorado

Spring skiing is in full force - enjoy the sunny days and shorter lift lines while you can! Ski season is not over yet so we have compiled a list of closing days and celebrations for you to make the most of this spring in the mountains. Book your spring getaway now! 

Keystone Resort 

Keystone’s closing day is April 16th and there will be celebrations all weekend to close out the season. Keystone is famous for their pond skim event on closing weekend for both adults and children! More information can be found here.

Copper Mountain 

Copper’s closing day is April 23rd with their famous Sunsation celebration all weekend long! There are plenty of events in the meantime - from the freeski national championship to their uphill racing series. Copper will also be putting on FREE live music for their final two weekends. Loveland Ski Area

Loveland’s closing day is May 8th and they are jam-packed in April with live music. This mountain is a music lover's dream - every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in April will feature different bands for you to enjoy. Snowboarders can partake in their 4th annual snowboard race on May 6th! More information can be found here.

Breckenridge Ski Resort

Breckenridge’s closing day is May 28th - giving us more time to enjoy the mountain without the winter and spring break crowds. You can expect shorter lift lines and bluebird days. Breck is hosting a Peak 9 closing day skin and more end-of-season events that can be found here.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area

Arapahoe Basin’s tentative close day is June 4th, we can always count on them to keep the party going for as long as possible! A Basin has more spring events then any other mountain making it our top destination. Some events include an Easter egg hunt, fish fry, moonlight dinner, disc golf tournament, and their epic downhill bike race on snow.. where else can you find all of this?!
