Summertime in Summit County Colorado!

It’s no surprise that Colorado is one of the best places to visit during summertime for outdoor enthusiasts, offering stunning mountain scenery, outdoor activities, and charming mountain towns. Here are some of the best places to add to your list!

Breckenridge

Explore historic Main Street with its shops, restaurants, and art galleries.

Enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, or a gondola ride to the top of the mountain! Breckenridge Stables offers scenic horseback rides for the whole family to enjoy.

Visit the Breckenridge Ski Mountain for summer activities like zip lining and alpine slides. Or treat yourself to a massage and relaxing day at the spa at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7.

Dillon

Enjoy boating, fishing, and paddle boarding on the country's highest altitude reservoir. Afterwards stop by Pug Ryans Tiki Bar for a refreshing frozen drink and a beautiful view of the water. 

Take a scenic walk or bike ride along the Dillon Reservoir Recreation Path. This loop goes all the way to Frisco!

Picnic or have a barbecue at one of the lakeside parks. If you are lucky you can even catch a show at the Dillon Amphitheater or stroll the Dillon Farmers Market every Friday! 

Keystone

Take advantage of summer activities like golfing, hiking, and mountain biking. 

 Visit the Keystone Adventure Center for zip-lining, paddle boarding, and other outdoor adventures.

Frisco
