Sledding Hills

Sledding is a great way to get the whole family together and outside for some fun in the sun! Maryland Creek Park is Silverthorne's largest park, boasting over 20 acres, and is located at the entrance to the Summit Sky Ranch neighborhood along Highway 9. In the winter, enjoy the impressive sledding hill and warming shelter with restrooms.

Sledding is also available at Rainbow Park in Silverthorne. This is a fun little hill that also includes a playground, public restrooms, and 3 picnic pavilions to sit down and relax while you watch everyone sled down the hill!

The best part about these sledding hills is that they are absolutely FREE! Bring your own sled and enjoy the ride! Sleds are not available for rent at these locations. Sleds are available to be purchased at most grocery stores and gas stations around the county. They are also available at Target in Silverthorne, or Wal-Mart in Frisco.
